You forgot the artist explaining that it’s meant to look like shit in as a rejection of Hollywood’s dominance over The Narrative.

the fish is swimming in water and you can slap around the water to make “interactive” noises/music 🙂

+ the documentation of the installation is best created before the installation…

– an installallation which makes constant bells-and-dingles noise which can be heard throughout the space
– some manifestation of replicating a digital phenomena IRL, e.g. some sort of code (e.g. html, or email with full headers) printed on paper (preferably brown and recycled)
– something suggestive of pain, e.g. installation with sharp objects, loud noises, heat, etc

By the time you’ve got all the hardware delivered, installed and working, there’s no time to tweak the software to make it work anywhere nearly as well as it could. You swear that next time you’ll allow more time. Repeat.

The entire project hinges on someone finding an allen key or similarly critical tool you forgot to bring.

+ the description makes countless references to “magic” and “tracking”

+ the artist doesn’t understand the difference between “Interaction” and “Reaction”.
