Result: I learned which gas station chains used these moronic devices and avoided them. I assume the only reason for entering the Zip Code is for use in market research; I doubt there is a security reason. Truly moronic design unless you want to limit your purchasers to US residents for some reason. In a destination city like Las Vegas or New York that is pretty stunned.
