grame is a Computer Music Research Laboratory.
According to their website, Grame’s laboratory, which has made fundamental and applied research in computer music since 1982, is, in this respect, in privileged situation owing to the great involvement of Grame in the contemporary musical life. The laboratory thus became expert in the domain of the tools for musical creation. Two fields of research are particularly privileged:
* Architecture of musical systems
* Formal languages for musical composition
