Virtual cities are always empty

Last week, at the Information & Communication Day at EPFL (annual presentation of I&C project), daniel thalmann gave a nice talk about Virtual Cities.

His stance was that almost all virtual cities are empty since it’s hard to model people doing nothing.

This is interesting and could be add to Laurie Anderson’s claim, that is to say : “let’s put some dirt into virtual reality”.
