they probably forgot to trim the linebreak. i’m always forgetting to do that. either that, or they had extra budget, and couldn’t decide on something to do with it.
I’d bet that the site was originally occupied by a business with six letters in its name.
It would be damned expensive to rebuild that towering eyesore to hold a custom-made Shell sign.
why don’t they just add the shell badge??
Maybe they bought the sign off C-A-L-T-E-X and just wanted to hog the spot?
Or maybe the local university students stole the little shell logo. 🙂
